My name is Courtney Clendenon and I am making this in hopes of having my mom put to rest. Nothing prepared me for this as my mom was only 53 years old at the time of her death and had no life insurance.

She died in her sleep on the morning of May 15, 2025 after having health issues over the past year or so. It is believed that she died of sepsis, we are awaiting for the labs to come back to know for sure per Coroner/medical examiner.

My mama loved deeply, she never met a stranger and there were many of times she would give you her last- I witnessed this on several occasions. She had a good heart and she loved everyone. Could have a conversation with ANYBODY.

I have never been one to ask for help, but the cost of cremation is $3,000 - that is without embalming for a viewing at a ceremony, it is solely for cremation. I am almost 6 months pregnant and do not have that at this time and just want my mom to be at peace. ANY and ALL proceeds will go directly to the funeral home.
