My friends, as so many of you know, I finally received the gift of life of a new liver on Saturday 9-6-2025! I am so fortunate. Through my journey of nearly 20 years with PSC—a rare, autoimmune disease that has no cure—I have had so many wonderful people by me. It was a close call; my surgeon told me that my old liver was almost unrecognizable, and that only because of my recent health failings did I finally become eligible to get this new one. Now, I am doing great and recovering well, but recovery is a tricky word as it has ups and downs, possible risks, and for the next several months, all of my focus must be on being able to do that. So for once, in my 38 years, I have to put work down and focus on my new liver buddy getting back to happy and healthy.
So I humbly ask for you to share my story, and if you can, help me provide financial stability for things like rent, food, and medical gaps until I’m back solidly. Anything means the world and please share, so others may also hear this story and know that their names will get called for that desperately needed organ.
