Courtney’s Funeral & Clementine’s Future
Donation protected
As our Warrior, first born child, new Mama to her daughter Baby Clem, and oldest sister to 7 siblings took her final breathe into her eternal home yesterday at our residence at 1406, we are left numb and speechless. Though we miss her we know she is no longer suffering and can rest after a long battle. She has received her wings at the young age of 30. Most know of our journey with her through my FB page where I have kept a monthly journal for almost three years for my granddaughter. She inspired many peoples lives with her fight and continuation of wanting to live for her little girl and family. Always showing the way and how to never give up.
History of Courtney’s short lived life. When she 11- exactly one month before her 12th bday, she was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes Mellitus. As she grew older her desire to want to be a Mama grew too. She was with child Jan 2019 and told by four different doctors to abort the baby or it would kill her. She prematurely delivered by an emergency c-section due to her kidneys and blood pressure with something called HELP syndrome. She lost her vision and received shots in her eyes every week to try and have a little vision to see her little one but with no prevail. Her battle with end stage renal failure had just begun. She received a port in Jan 2020 to begin hemodialysis. Was extremely sick everyday and in pain and we found out in March 2020 that the port had to come out and she needed a peritoneal tube in her stomach because the port caused a cardiac thrombosis and pulmonary embolism. She died four times on the operating table and she still chose to continue on her battle for her daughter and family. Never giving up in God and hope for receiving new kidneys and a pancreas. So she began peritoneal dialysis at home with me doing it everyday. Her vision was completely lost in August and her walking was lost back in Feb 2021. As I was teaching her daughter, my granddaughter to walk and be potty trained, my daughter, Courtney was going in reverse.
She would spend her last days with hearing the Bible read to her and healing with music and conversation with family.
She is the bravest, caring, loving daughter, sister and young Mama I’ve ever met and deserves everything in memory of her life on earth. She was my ride or die as I was hers. She is now an Angel in Heaven singing in the choir and the fiercest Angel watching over her daughter and loved ones. *Rest in Jesus arms Warrior. Your journey on earth is over. Mama has it from here*
Any extra money donated will be set aside for Clementines future. Any little bit helps. Thank you and God bless!
