Courtney’s Crew

Courage and Grace!  That's how Courtney has always handled her medical challenges.  Born with the genetic disorders of Cystic Fibrosis and Von Willebrand disease Courtney was given a life expectancy of about 18 years.  Medical breakthroughs and perseverance have taken her past that allowing her to graduate college, start a career and recently get married.  

However, 2 months ago she was also diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.  With having CF and MS she is only 1 of 3 cases ever reported to the FDA.  Lengthy hospital stays and doctor bills have escalated.  Also forcing her to take a leave of absence from work as they try to find the right combination of drugs that will put the MS in remission.  Not an easy task as the docs don't really have any clinical data references.

Out of love and support, Courtney's cousins and friends will be running the Fox Valley Marathon September 16th as "Courtney's Crew" to raise money for the medical bills insurance is not covering.
