Help Support Courtney and Her Kids During Courtney’s Recovery

At the end of May, my cousin, Courtney Bullock, suffered a sudden cardiac arrest and was airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. For days, her loved ones faced the unthinkable—uncertain if she would survive. True to her strong and spirited nature, Courtney began to show signs of recovery just two days later.

Despite this miraculous turn, the road ahead remains uncertain. Courtney continues to battle encephalopathy and has undergone intensive treatment, including extended sedation. While her condition is thankfully improving, doctors are still evaluating the extent of lasting heart damage. The coming months will be critical—and incredibly challenging.

Courtney is the devoted mother of three beautiful children: a 12-year-old daughter, a 5-year-old daughter, and a 3-year-old son. As she focuses on healing, she faces a major financial burden: she does not have short- or long-term disability through her employer and will be left with very limited income during this time.

This GoFundMe was created to help support her children during this difficult time. The account will be set up in the name of her eldest child, Riley. Courtney and her kids are deeply loved by her family, friends, and community.
