I am participating as a Champion in The Arc San Francisco’s Anti-Bullying Campaign, dedicated to my sister Elizabeth and all the clients of The Arc SF who have faced bullying throughout their lives because they are “different.” We are all different in some way or another, and the bullying needs to stop with us, today.
Your donation goes directly towards training Arc clients how to respond to bullying effectively and with dignity, and how to defend themselves and their friends when bullying begins. The Arc Allies program not only builds leadership skills of adults with developmental disabilities that we serve, but it also builds confidence and boosts self-esteem. Confidence, self-esteem, pride and dignity — these are all personal attributes that are necessary for success at work—and in life.
Please join me in my campaign to raise $5000 to support the Arc San Francisco’s Anti-Bullying Campaign and honor my sister Elizabeth, who is no longer bullied! I invite you to join me by contributing whatever amount you can and taking the Anti-Bullying Pledge . 100% of the proceeds go towards The Arc’s Anti-Bullying and Arc Allies Programs.
