Courtney's Emergency Fund

I am reaching out to my community and extended family to ask for your help in lifting up my niece Courtney Jenkins.

As some of you may know, my sister Stephanie died a few weeks ago after a very long battle with Breast Cancer, leaving behind her daughter Courtney who is 20.  Courtney's entire life has been engaged in this battle, and her Mother died in her arms. 

 Since then, Courtney has been evicted from her home, lost 3 of her 4 dogs who all had to be re-homed, and has moved in with a family friend who was kind enough to open her door to her.

I would like to offer Courtney even a short respite from her current tenuous situation by creating a small cushion of financial resource so that she can grieve her Mother, and find her way forward to something more stable.

I know there are many causes and none of us has a lot of money. But if you can you do even a little now for Courtney, it would mean the world to me.
