My name is Jamie and I am setting up this go fund me page for our entire surgery department who wishes to help and support our friend and colleague Samantha Wickman (pictured here on the right) with her sister Courtney (pictured on the left), and Lana: her four year old daughter.

Courtney tragically succumbed to injuries she sustained from a stray bullet on October 21, 2023. She was victimized by a complete stranger while celebrating her birthday with her sister.

Courtney leaves behind her four year old daughter, Lana, who was her world. Along with her sister, Sam, family members, and friends. Her shocking and untimely death is profoundly felt by all who knew and loved her. May Courtney fly high and rest in peace. She will be forever missed.
