Courtney Tate and Children

Hi family & friends, My first cousin more like my sister Courtney Tate was the pedestrian struck by a vehicle on 10/31/24 on 37th & Tuttle & the driver fled the scene. Courtney was out trick or treating with 3 of her 6 children. Unfortunately they witnessed their mom hit, unconscious and being rushed to the hospital. Courtney has spent everyday since Halloween night fighting for her life in the ICU after suffering from a brain bleed and a fractured face. She is finally awake but unaware & confused of a lot after coming out of a medically induced coma. She will have a very long recovery! She was a home health aide who spent time caring for others. Due to the severity of her injuries we are unsure of how well she will recover let alone be able to return to work. The goal is to raise money for her rent & utilities as well as medical bills to avoid Courtney & her children losing their home. Any amount is appreciated & helps!
