On November 17th our dear friend and mother to be, Courtney was admitted to Uc Davis Medical Center due to complications with her pregnancy. At 22 weeks Courtney went in for a normal anatomy scan, soon after she found out her cervix had opened and she was dilated to 4-5cm. She was immediately transferred to Uc Davis where she was given medication with hopes to strengthen her baby’s lungs and she has been forced to bed rest for the remainder of her pregnancy so her baby has longer to grow.

Once her baby is born she will immediately be transfer to the nicu and it is unknown how long she will be there for. It could be months till she is able to go home.

She is going through a lot of stress already and to add on to it she is not able to see her daughter till she leaves the hospital and the financial stress will start building up as she is unable to work. Even after Courtney is released from the hospital she will still have to commute daily to go see her little girl. She doesn’t know when she will be able to get back to work. As we are all aware stress for a child in the womb is very dangerous and unhealthy. We want to help take some of that stress away with this fundraiser so she can focus on her health and her baby. We want to help ease the financial pressure and not stress about how bills/expenses will be paid.

Anyone who knows Courtney knows she’s such a loving person and is always there for others.

Let’s gather as a community and help our girl that we all know and love so much with whatever we can. Anything will help her, even if it’s prayer for her and her sweet baby girl!
