On March 11, 2021, 36 year old Courtney Jean Murphy, took her last breath! It was a shocking passing as Courtney, loving daughter, devoted sister, steadfast friend to all she met was surely destined for a long and soulful life. Circumstances surrounding her untimely death are confusing and devastating. She married a man, who the family later discovered had disturbing behavior in his past and in their relationship. Less than four months after their wedding, she was found dead in her marital bed with a gunshot wound to her head. Do to the suspicious nature of her death the family needs the Las Vegas Metro Police Department to help fill in the blanks. His story has changed repeatedly and since he is the next of kin the family has not been able to get the toxicology and police reports to confirm any details of this horrific tragedy. The husband continues to distance himself from the family. The devastated family seeks closure and justice for their loving girl. The pain of this monumental loss has incited her family and friends to do as much as possible to help with expenses and/or any future litigation resulting from this tragic incident.
