In Memory of Courtney

I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of Courtney’s family to help with funeral costs and, most importantly, to give Courtney the beautiful send-off he truly deserves.

Courtney was an unforgettable Dad, partner, son, brother, friend, and an unforgettable player. He was someone who made an impression on everyone he met, and his absence will be felt by so many people who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.

Courtney was a truly special soul. He was the kind of person who could bring light into every room he walked into. He brought laughter to every table, could turn an ordinary moment into a memory, and had the incredible ability to make friends with a chair . That was just Courtney — his personality, his humour, and the way he made people feel comfortable around him were something that cannot be replaced.

He had a way of making people smile, even when they were having a difficult day. Whether you knew him as family, a friend, a teammate, or simply someone you crossed paths with, there is no doubt that Courtney left his mark.

As a Dad and a partner, Courtney meant so much to the people closest to him. As a son, brother, and friend, he was loved and cherished. And as a player, he was someone who brought his own character, passion, and personality to the game. There are so many people who will have their own stories, memories, and moments with Courtney that they will carry with them forever.

Losing someone so special is heartbreaking, and no family should have to worry about the financial burden that comes with arranging a funeral while they are trying to process such an unimaginable loss.

We are creating this GoFundMe to help make things just a little bit lighter for Courtney’s family during this incredibly difficult time. We want to give them the opportunity to come together, remember Courtney, celebrate the life he lived, and give him the farewell he deserves without the added worry of funeral costs.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a difference and will be deeply appreciated by Courtney’s family. If you are not in a position to donate, simply sharing this page with your friends, family, teammates, or anyone who knew Courtney would mean just as much.
