Hi, my name is Danielle Carnes and I am Courtney's youngest sibling. On July 27, 2021 Courtney was rushed to the hospital unexpectedly. She was declared with a brain injury and passed away on July 30, 2021. She was a brilliant, bright light and would do anything for anyone in need. Courtney wore many "hats" - daughter, sister, aunt, friend, coworker, leader, etc. But her favorite hat was being a mother. Courtney unfortunately leaves behind her 11 year old son, Spencer who is navigating such a difficult time.

The family is asking for monetary donations to help with the expenses of laying Courtney to rest and with Spencer's transition. We want to give Courtney the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. We also want to make sure her son is taken care of financially at this time. Donations for the funeral will be used by August 5, 2021. All remainder money will be put aside to help with Spencer.
