Support Courtney's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello everyone,

My name is Courtney, and I'm reaching out to share my journey and ask for your support during a challenging time. On January 24, 2024, at the age of 33, I received the devastating diagnosis of Triple-Negative Invasive Ductal Adenocarcinoma, a form of breast cancer known for its aggressive nature.

Since then my life has been a whirlwind of treatments and medical appointments, with numerous unexpected costs. The road ahead is long and daunting, with many months of treatment still to come. This is why I am reaching out for support at this time.

My treatment plan includes immunotherapy, chemotherapy, surgeries, and radiation. To access these life-saving treatments I have to travel two hours each way, once or twice per week. The financial burden of travel expenses alone is significant, not to mention the additional costs for treatments that the healthcare system and insurance does not cover, including fertility protection and other medications.

In the midst of this battle, I have faced many unexpected challenges. An anaphylactic reaction to chemotherapy and a severe reaction to immunotherapy led to a week-long hospital stay, and I needed urgent support from my family. The physical and emotional toll of cancer treatment is immense, and I find myself struggling to manage everyday tasks.
