This fundraiser has been set up to assist the family of Corbin Pierce, a 10 year old boy from the Des Moines, IA area, who has been battling Philadelphia chromosome positive Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia since February 2015. Corbin has been through 3 years of chemo so far, and has much more treatment ahead of him. He suffered a relapse of his leukemia in May of 2017. 

In February 2018 he began a new round of treatment (CAR-T therapy) at the University of Minnesota's Children's Hospital in Minneapolis.

In April 2018 his leukemia returned.

We have traveled with Corbin to Minneapolis for an extended stay for a Bone Marrow Transplant starting in June of 2018.

Previously, most of the costs of his medical treatment has been covered by insurance or reimbursement through the pharmaceutical company that was involved with the CAR-T therapy.  However, there have been and will be ongoing travel and other costs related to his treatment that have not or will not be reimbursed.  

Donated funds will be put towards these costs.  Any funds exceeding these costs will be put toward other household needs that have been delayed during the last three years of his treatment.

We are so thankful for all the prayers and support we have been given during this journey.  If you have given to our family in some other fashion, please do not feel obligated to give again here.  This fundraiser has been set up as just another avenue for people to come along side of us on this journey, if they wish.
