Many of you have been following the medical journey of my nephew, Clay Goodwin. For those that haven’t, Clay was born with 4 congenital heart defects which were repaired in an 11 hour surgery with complications. His journey has been a roller coaster to say the least. We recently received the news that after his heart reconstruction surgery his heart is not working as well as we had previously thought. His right heart is very small and will need additional significant time in the hospital to allow it to grow and hopefully get stronger.

Brandon and Hannah would be the very last people to ask anyone for help. However, due to their extended hospital stay that will be needed to ensure Clay has the best chance to overcome this, we have decided to start to a GoFundMe page for them. The money raised by this fund will help the Goodwin’s with expenses incurred from not being able to work. Brandon has been off from work for the last month and is unsure when he will be able to return.

By donating, this will help alleviate one less burden off their shoulders and will allow them to keep their focus on Baby Clay and their other 3 boys at home.
