Cameron Weimer has endured a lifetime of courage in his short 13 years of life. He passed away on Sunday, April 12th in the arms of his mother and grandparents. Now we are hoping to support his mom, Tera, and his twin brother, Isaiah.
The twins were born at 25 weeks via emergency c-section. Both needed to be resuscitated and Cameron suffered a brain hemorrhage and had hydrocephalus (water of the brain) which required a shunt to drain extra fluid. Over the past two years, the shunt had failed time and time again and Cameron had 20 revisions/replacements, which until last Friday, had been successful.
Cameron was only 13 years old and had endured more than most adults with his health. Tera is a caregiver at a group home and the only financial provider. She has missed work to be at her son’s side for several weeks this year. She is emotionally drained to say the least, and at this time has unexpected expenses as well.
We are hoping that this Go Fund Me will help her at this time address their immediate needs. Normally, we would collect funds at school, but due to social distancing, electronic donations are the only option available. If you feel so moved, please consider a donation to support Cam’s family during this time.
