Couple Loses Everything in Paradise

Ted & Shurlea Smith called Paradise, California home. They raised their family there, including my son-in-law Josh Young. They were happy to retire amongst their close-knit community.

Unfortunately, they lost everything, including their beloved pets, in the Camp Fire. Their whole community is gone.

Ted is a disabled veteran and Shurlea spends her time painting, practicing yoga, and hiking in their neighborhood parks and canyons. Unfortunately memories are all they have left of their hometown.
