county worker hit by car on highway

Hi, my name is Mark Hammer. I was one of the county workers hit by the car going 70 mph on college avenue… when I was hit all I could think about is my family, how I might not see them again, how I wasn’t able to move my legs at first, I was terrified I could’ve been paralyzed. when I was in the hospital, they told me I was going to make it out alive but it will be a long road to recovery, I have lots of bruising and possible nerve damage in my neck, as of right now i’m doubting if I would return to work or not because this experience frightened me enough, also with all my injuries and everything else that happened the driver of the vehicle that hit me was not criminally charged of anything all that happened was he got minor tickets. I would just really like some help paying for bills because as of right now I am not sure when i will be able to return to work.
