US Prison Missions Tour #2! Yes, we are going at it again! Heidi and I will be traveling through PA, OH, KY, TN, AL, TX, LA, FL, GA, NC, WV, VA and NY to visit prisons, drug treatment centers, Teen Challenges and churches that are interested in prison ministry or has one of their own! In addition to making these visits, we will be meeting with public officials in at least 3 different states to discuss our vision for Prisoner Development and Reform.
We did this last year and traveled 8000 miles in 7 weeks. We donated over 30 cases of Mike's memoir, "How's It Feel, Tough Guy?" to those prisons and drug treatment centers. It was such a a successful trip that most of the prisons/rehabs have asked us back and we've added many new ones, too!
The magnitum of this kind of trip is very expensive. We will be on the road from July 13 - September 21st and we appreciate anything you can do to help us. No donation is too small. The funds raised will be used to travel to those 13 states, a rental vehicle to carry the cases of books we're donating, cost of printing new books for donating, hotel fees when we can't find someone to host us and various expenses that you would incur making this lengthy trip. Understand that part of your support will provide for our bills at home since we won't be working during these two months. We didn't allot for this last year and ended up behind the 8 ball!
