It's confirmed - the popular series Countdown has been canceled for a second season.
Not only we as fans are devastated, but also the cast members Jensen Ackles, Eric Dane, Jessica Camacho, Uli Latukefu, Violett Beane, Elliot Knight, and many more - not to forget writer Derek Haas.
But to show that Countdown is more than just a series, the German Supernatural Family has come up with a surprise fan campaign planned for May 2026 – because with this family, we have achieved the impossible more than once.
We want to prove to Supernatural and Countdown star Jensen Ackles and the rest of the cast how important the series has been by collecting donations, which will be evenly divided and handed over to the following organizations at the German Purgatory 10 Convention in May, in the presence of Jensen:
The ALS Association - https://www.als.org
The Glioblastoma Foundation - https://glioblastomafoundation.org
Eric Dane, who suffers from ALS, has made a major contribution to raising awareness of the disease through the series Countdown.
Jensen Ackles, who plays Detective Mark Meachum in the series who suffers from a rare form of glioblastoma multiforme, is a symbol for the many people in real life who struggle with this terrible form of cancer every day.
Both diseases urgently need further research in the hope of one day finding a cure.
If you would like to be part of this surprise fan project, please join in the campaign to highlight the added value of the series and make the handover of donations in May 2026 a success.
Because together, the Supernatural and Countdown families can achieve anything
