Hi my Name is Emerson Waite, owner of Emmys Baked Goods and sister to Coulter Waite.

At just 23 years old, my brother Coulter’s life changed in an instant. He suffered an AVM rupture, causing severe bleeding and swelling in his brain. While doctors were able to repair the area that ruptured, the road ahead is long and uncertain.

Coulter is now facing months of intensive rehabilitation as his brain works to rewire itself. He will have to relearn the most basic, everyday functions—how to eat, walk, and even sit up on his own again. It’s a journey that will require strength, patience, and extensive medical care.

We are raising funds to help cover the overwhelming costs of his rehabilitation and recovery. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward giving Coulter the best chance at healing and regaining his independence.
