We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our friend and colleague Claudio Cotza.  He was taken too soon and he is survived by his loving wife Maria and his two children CJ and Victoria.  He was beloved by all who knew him.  

 Claudio came to work at St. Raymond’s 5 years ago as our Security Guard.  At St. Raymond’s, we are like a family and one of our own has gained his wings and has gone to heaven.  Claudio made the faculty always feel safe, loved and welcomed.  He did his job and so much more. As students and parents heard of his passing, many of them expressed how he was a father figure to them.   He didn’t end his day when it was time to go home, he waited until every student was picked up before locking up.  He had a connection to every faculty member, he knew all about our families and we knew about his.  He had a deep love for sports and coaching , but most of all, he was extremely proud of his children. 

 Claudio had a huge heart and always cared about others.  His family was the most important thing to him.  He was an amazing husband, father, brother, uncle, friend, coach and colleague who will be deeply missed by all.
