Cottonwood Fire Relief Fund: Support Southern Utah Businesses & Families
The fast-moving Cottonwood Fire has torn through southern Utah, exploding to over 70,000 acres in just a matter of days. Described by officials as potentially the most destructive wildfire in Utah’s history, this catastrophic blaze has swept through the Tushar Mountains, forcing mandatory evacuations and leaving a trail of heartbreaking destruction in its wake.
We have lost cherished mountain homes, private cabins, and livestock. The fire has heavily impacted our regional tourism and economy, dealing a devastating blow to iconic local mainstays like Eagle Point Resort, alongside the many small businesses, workers, and agricultural operations that form the backbone of our community.
How the BIG Chamber of Commerce is Helping
As the Beaver, Iron, and Garfield (BIG) Chamber of Commerce , our mission has always been to elevate business prosperity and foster healthy, resilient communities. Right now, our community is hurting, and we are stepping up to help lead the recovery.
We have established this official relief fund to provide direct, immediate financial assistance to those who need it most.
Where Your Donations Will Go:
100% of the funds collected through this campaign will be managed by the BIG Chamber of Commerce and distributed directly to the local individuals, families, and businesses in our region who have been severely impacted by the Cottonwood Fire.
For Displaced Families: Assisting community members who have lost their homes, cabins, or livelihoods with immediate emergency needs, temporary housing assistance, and essential supplies.
For Local Businesses: Supporting affected small businesses, displaced workers, and local hospitality and recreation operators as they navigate closures, physical damage, and long-term economic recovery.

The road to recovery for Beaver and the surrounding areas will be long and challenging. The landscape has changed, but the resilience of Southern Utah has not.
