I've never been involved with Cottingham Cricket Club but I know all too well the time, money and effort it takes to run a sports club anywhere but especially in East Yorkshire.

I saw this appalling story on social media and wanted to do something about it. I was going to send a donation and I wondered how many others had the same thought or would if given the opportunity.

Please give whatever you can, no amount is too small - although some big ones will obviously help too!

All monies will be given to Cottingham CC to repair their scoreboard, replace equipment broken in the clubhouse and replace stolen/ruined food and drinks from the children's tuck shop.

Hull and East Riding is a wonderful place. We're not defined by mindless idiots.
