Costs and final expenses for Michael

Hi, my name is Cayli. I'm Mike's little sister. First, let me say, Michael was a good and loving brother.

Our story that brought us here is, Michael, myself, and 3 others left Dubois Sunday morning to go to a concert in Philly on Sunday evening, we booked several hotel rooms for an overnight stay, knowing it would be a late drive home. Our goal then the next day was to sight see on Monday. Visit the Liberty Bell and Independance Hall.

On our way back to our hotel rooms after the concert, Michael stopped and leaned back against the wall and said he felt dizzy, we all stopped when he said this and noticed he was very pale and and was starting to slide down the wall so we grabbed him to help him gently down and he was "out". Thinking he just had fainted or collapsed, we dialed 911.

When the paramedics arrived, Michael was unresponsive, not breathing, and had no heartbeat. They resuscitated him and got him back, but lost him several times on the way to the hospital but kept getting him back. While at the hospital, he just kept slipping. He could not keep a heartbeat on his own, and after 2 1/2 hours, the doctors said there was nothing more that could be done.

Our brother, son, nephew, cousin, friend was gone.

This is a devastating disaster for our family.

And now we are faced with hospital costs and funeral and final expenses.

Michael was a light in this world in so many ways. Loved by so many and showed love and compassion to anyone in his path.

Michael did not have a life insurance policy or funds to cover any of the final expenses. Any contribution will help.

Thank you to everyone for loving my brother . I know he is going to be missed by many.

I will forever have a piece of me missing. I've never knew of a life without him in it.
