Hello, my name is Jeanette and I'm raising funds to help Jose Romero, a Costa Rican young actor, reach his goal of studying at NYU. Since he was a kid, Jose became passionate about acting and soon enrolled in a small theatre academy in his native San Jose, Costa Rica. Coming from a small country with a developing art scene, he made the most of every experience and production in which he participated, and I'm a witness of the passion he's always felt for acting and his devotion to getting an opportunity at his dream school: New York University (NYU). After years of training, studying, and effort, Jose was recently admitted into NYU with a scholarship that covers 70% of the total cost. Even though the scholarship covers the majority, it still leaves an important gap for him and his family that could cost him finally reaching his goal. Jose and his family have done everything possible, but as an international student, his possibilities of getting external funding are limited. Being so close to this for which he has fought his entire life, I'm respectfully asking you to help Jose to reach the final step and make his dream come true.
