Costa Rica Refugee Fundraiser

This semester, a group of college students from the University of Notre Dame have been selected to participate in a pre-medical program in Puebla. Throughout the semester, we will take medical classes and go on rotations in various Mexican hospitals in order to gain a better understanding of what medicine looks like outside of the U.S. During this program, our main project is with the Praxis Center in Costa Rica where we will help at a clinic dedicated to refugees crossing through Costa Rica. These people walk hundreds of miles through dense forest and are in deep need of free healthcare as well as necessary items to meet their basic needs. In order to provide these materials, we, the Puebla Program Students’ Initiative, are asking for your financial support to gain momentum towards our goal. Our objective is to raise $2,000 for the cause. Any help you can give is greatly appreciated whether it’s a direct donation or passing our cause on to your family and friends.
Once again, thank you for your support.
