Cost of building materials RSV Primary Uganda
Donation protected
Connor is travelling to Uganda this June with the Northern Ireland based charity Abaana to build a sanitation block and kitchen at Rainey Summit View Primary School.
To raise funds towards building materials Connor and another team member are walking 25 miles. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
The Summit View Primary project was taken on by Rainey Endowed School. Currently with around 600 pupils Summit View school caters for P1 – P7. The first classroom block was constructed by teams from Rainey Endowed School in 2019. Since the first phase of building began in 2019, pupil attendance has increased by more than 60%. The school has been hugely popular, yet this puts a strain on the existing sanitation facilities. The pupils (and staff) will be happy to see a brand-new toilet block installed.
A group of 40 pupils and staff from Rainey Endowed, including Connor will travel to The Summit View in June 2025 with the Abaana Team to help with the construction project.
