My beloved cat, Cosmo, is more than just a pet — he's a sweet, caring, affectionate boy who loves his humans just as much as they love him. He loves cuddling with his sister Nova, hanging out with our dogs, and giving me massages while I lay in bed. Who could ask for a better companion?

Recently, he started vomiting, eating less and losing a lot of weight. Clearly worried about my little boy, I brought him into the vet. He got his blood work done, and after review, they noticed the blood values in the liver were off. Cosmo then received an ultrasound where they determined his liver was enflamed and swollen. From his symptoms, they believe the most accurate diagnosis is that he has cholangiohepatitis, also known as fatty liver disease.

Cosmo's battle is far from over. Although the disease can be reversed, it will take a lot of effort. He now has to take 4 different medications, a prescription diet, and has to have frequent vet visits to monitor his progress.

Though I will do everything in my power to help him recover, it is unfortunately very difficult for me financially. So far, it has cost over $2000 and with more expected vet visits, the cost will only rise. The money raised from this will be used to fund his vet costs, future vet visits and medication.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to Cosmo, his family and I. With your kindness and generosity, Cosmo will get back to living the happy, healthy life he deserves.
