Cosette’s Second Heart Repair

Cosette was born with a very unique heart and thrived with it for almost a year. She underwent a planned open heart surgery in February 2024 at Children’s Dallas for the first part of a staged biventricular heart repair. It seemed like a success and we were making progress however she had a setback and was in the hospital for 97 days.

We have been home since June and it’s getting to be time for her second staged repair. She will have it performed in Dallas or Boston Children’s if they accept her and we can make it there safely.
