My sister, Michelle, is one of the most adventurous people I know. She does freelance film/camera work (and about a 1,000 other cool things). Every year for her birthday she does something extremely adventurous, like jumping into freezing Alaskan waters and lighting herself on fire. Now, she is about to embark on her most wild adventure yet.
In January 2020, Michelle was diagnosed with Stage 3b Ovarian Cancer. This is something that she grew up knowing was a possibility, but nothing can really prepare you for the news that you have cancer at the age of 35. She has beaten death five times before, and we know this will be no different.
She is currently recovering from a hysterectomy and has already begun chemotherapy. She will have 6 rounds, one every 3 weeks. Unfortunately, the medical bills will start piling up shortly, as well as her regular monthly expenses that don’t stop just because she is out of commission.
Michelle is one of the strongest and bravest people I know, and she is so appreciative of the outpouring of love and support that she has received from her family and friends. I would also like to ask some support on her behalf for her expenses, so that she can focus all her energy on winning this battle and not have to spend any time worrying about trying to make ends meet. Since she has no plans to go anywhere any time soon, I would love to see her able to pick right back up in her crazy adventures once this is over, so she can put this all behind her and not have any debt holding her back. All funds will go directly to Michelle’s expenses. Please feel free to share this as well! Thank you for any support you can give
