UPDATE: We are incredibly touched by the outpour of support everyone had shown us, here with donations, and in various other ways of support, you are making it possible for us to process this loss humanely and deeply.
As many of you know, Cory was fiercely talented, and he honed his ability into his music. We are uncovering various musical works/recordings of Cory's. We feel the best way to honor Cory is to use any extra funds donated here to create an album(s) of Cory's various projects, but especially his singing-songwriting. Please continue to donate to this effort and we will be sure to make his recordings and music available to you.
Following the passing of our loved one, Cory Myrick, we are organizing a tribute to his life. Cory's wish was to be cremated, after which we will hold a Celebration of Life in his honor.
The family needs help to fund his cremation, urn, county fees, and to print photos for his Celebration of Life. We estimate that this will cost about $3,000.
The most urgent need is to cremate Cory's remains at Chapel of Memories Mortuary in Norwalk, CA which we need as soon as possible. Chapel of Memories cost is $2,488.
We are also collecting photos of Cory for a video that his brothers Justin and Brian, and cousin Christian are creating to be shown at Cory's Celebration of life and also for everyone to have pictures of Cory.
