Cory Martin's Proper Sendoff
Hi everyone, I'm fundraising for my cousin Angie Ward, her son Cory Martin and his 3 children. Cory 27yrs old from Grafton, OH unexpectedly passed away this morning leaving behind 3 young children and all the funeral expenses for the family to cover. There was no life insurance policy in play because he was only 27yrs old and didn't think he needed one that early, unfortunately we were wrong on this one. He got strep throat and an upper respiratory infection and the infection traveled to his heart and his heart gave out in just a short couple mins, he fell in the tub and sank into the water causing there to be no oxygen to his brain. My cousin Angie had to make the hardest decision any parent should ever have to make and that was pulling the plug on him due to no brain activity and barely a heartbeat at all with the ventilator helping. 1:45a Wednesday morning my poor cousin lost her baby boy (something that a parent just shouldn't have to go through) we are trying to send Cory off right with a proper service and his son asked if we could please lay his body out for viewing so he can say a proper goodbye to him we need help for the service, casket and everything else that comes with planning a funeral, unfortunately there isn't much money and we are trying to figure out ways to make this all happen for Cory and ESPECIALLY FOR HIS 3 SMALL CHILDREN, who are completely devasted and don't understand why their Dad had to leave them so early and honestly we don't have the answers and who will not be able to grow up with him around anymore. They are heart broken to say the least and don't understand why this happened to him and them. EmmaLynn 9, Bentley 8, and Rylynn 4 will never get to have their Dad physically with them anymore and we are just trying to make it a little better for them and what they want their Dad to have. Cory was a good, smart, caring man, friend, brother, father, son, partner and all around good person that worked hard to provide for his family of 5 and loved his precious family so much. He was a mechanic and then started traveling to install new playgrounds that are safer for children to play on. This has truly shook the family as it was completely unexpected. I'm trying to help my cousin Angie out as much as I can because it is just devastating for her to have to bury her child at such a young age, so I'm trying to take some of the hard stuff off of her and help wherever I can. Cory leaves behind his 3 beautiful children EmmaLynn, Bentley, and Rylynn his children's Mother Casey Lynn, his Mother Angie Ward, Step-Father Michael Iorillo, older Brother Kevin Martin (April Austin) his nephews Dewey and Cameron, his niece Roslynn, his Sister Candace Martin and his niece Serenity Rose along with his Aunt's, Uncle's and Cousin's.
Please help our family send Cory off with a big bang for us and ESPECIALLY his children during this unexpected and untimely passing of this young man. Thank You
Anything is appreciated and what is left will go to his children to take care of them until we can figure out our next steps.
