Their story

Hi, my name is Eleanor, and I’m organizing this fundraiser for Cory Delorme, his son, Kellan, and grandma Annie in Pincher Creek, Alberta. Cory is the kind of person who always shows up for others, volunteers, and works hard to support family, and Kellan is a kind kid who loves hockey.

Recently, all of their lives changed when Kellan and his mom were in a serious car accident. Kellan’s mom died while Kellan was airlifted to the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Kellan has faced multiple surgeries, broken bones and stitches. Cory and Annie are currently dealing with a son/grandson in serious condition, and at the same time, they are grieving the loss of Annie’s daughter, Kellan’s mom. Cory has had to travel and take time away from work, in addition to Kellan's day-to-day needs. They are doing everything they can, but the costs are adding up quickly.

I am reaching out because they can’t do this alone. Any support, whether it’s a donation or simply sharing this page, will help ease the stress so Cory and Annie can focus on Kellan, on medical care and recovery, and on grieving and healing. Your help will also give them space to work toward stability over the coming weeks and months.

How the funds will be used

• Medical expenses not covered by insurance (appointments, medications, equipment)

• Travel and accommodation for treatment, appointments, and family arrangements

• Memorial/funeral expenses and related costs

• Rent/mortgage, utilities, and groceries during time off work
