Cory Baltzer Fundraiser

Hi, my name is Shawna and I’m reaching out to all of you on behalf of Cory Baltzer. For those of you who know Cory, you know he would be very upset with me for doing this because he is a very private person and would never ask for help himself. Yet he and Chris (or Chrissy or Mac) would be the very first people in line to help anyone else.

I have known Cory for over 20 years and Mac is my best friend….. NO ONE is more deserving of help, especially in a time like this.

It absolutely kills me to write this and I’m sure this is the first some of you have heard but Cory has been courageously battling cancer for quite a while now. Cory is a contractor and works for himself, and initially he was working as much as he could as the insurance he has will not pay out for a cancer diagnosis.

Things have taken a turn for the worse, and his diagnosis is terminal. He is very sick and is not able to work. We are trying to raise funds for medical supplies, such as a hospital bed, so that we can bring Cory home for the time he has left, as well as any outstanding bills that have or will be incurred.

Even if you have never met Cory and don’t know what an amazing human being he is, take my word for it and donate. Every little bit helps!! If it’s five dollars or 500 it all adds up!! please pass this on to anyone that you can so that we can try and make Cory as comfortable as possible during the last leg of his journey.

** Please, do not reach out to Cory or Chris at this time, He is not able to check his phone and Chris and the family are overwhelmed with everything they are dealing with. This is a time for quality time spent with Cory, not dealing with messages. Please feel free to leave any messages of encouragement or love here and I will make sure that they get each and every one of them.
