Corvian Community School Relief Fund
On November 12th, Corvian Community Elementary School was devastated due to flash flooding. 143 students, teachers, and staff were evacuated safely from the building thanks to the Charlotte Fire Department.
Our school building has suffered extensive damage. Floors need to be redone, thousands of dollars of school and office supplies have been destroyed, and personal items have been lost. Among those personal items, have been the cars of our teachers and staff members. 14 of those cars have been determine to be totaled and we wait to hear about the remaining 10-15 cars.
All of the funds earned on this page will be donated to Corvian Community Elementary Schools teacher assistance fund. The teacher assistance fund was set up to help offset the costs of the damage to the staffs cars, buy new office and classroom supplies, and refurbish the building.
