Corvallis MT Science Olympiad

WE WON STATE!   PLEASE HELP US GET TO NATIONALS!

The Corvallis Middle School Science Olympiad team consists of fifteen 6th & 7th graders who, after countless hours spent studying 14 different subjects, (including astronomy, forensics, environmental diseases, fossils, invasive species, ecology, and wind power), earned the top award at the Montana state competition in November.   Having such a tremendous level of self-motivation and initiative has resulted in an invitation as the state of Montana's sole representative at the National Science Olympiad tournament (middle school level) in Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Corvallis is a small rural town in western Montana, where funds are not readily available.  We are very excited to have acheived this honor and look forward to the opportunity to travel to Wisconsin as representatives of the state of Montana. We are continuing to study for our individual events and are now also working hard to earn the funds necessary to make the trip to the National Tournament.
