Corvallis OSU students home robbed of everything

Donation protected
On Aug 4th, our kid's college house in Corvallis was robbed. Us moms, (Susan, Jennifer and Lacee) are putting this fund together as many of our family and friends have asked how you can help. Here are a few details of what happened. There was an invasion which the entire home was emptied of almost everything-even down to taking dirty old dish towels. The Corvallis police have said it's one of the biggest invasions they have ever seen. The home was left with damage and mess which will require professionals to clean up. Trust us that it would turn your stomach what they did. It's possible that they may have been squatting there the week prior to the unhaul truck showing up Aug 4th. Neighbors saw people, but didn't report it as it was the week that most college kids are usually moving. Our kids, JohnPaul Anderson, Grant Anderson, Elijah Crosby, Rebecca Blake and Dane Hammer, attend Oregon State University, most of them studying the field of Engineering. The boys have lived in the same house for the last three years. Almost all of their possessions were in this home and stayed there as some of them were going back and forth all summer. The kids are devastated, scared, angry and feel violated. Many people have been asking how they could help get the kids back on their feet before school in Sept, so that it is not such a financial burden on the families or kids themselves. Items taken that were of value were computers, electronics, guitar, golf clubs, and were items that the kids bought with their own money over the last couple years. Things that on a summer job can't be replaced. The short list of items missing is all their electronics, kitchen items, all their clothes-yes dirty socks and underwear were taken , all cleaning supplies, vacuum, steam mop, the robbers took personal pictures, all beds, bedding, night stands, desks, closet organizers, towels, bathroom items, bible, books, stuffed animals, shoes, all kitchen items, lamps, rugs, silverware, fans, literally almost the entire house full of stuff. What can't be replaced is some heirlooms, and collectables. What they left, they destroyed. We are starting from scratch to help them rebuild.

Most of you who are reading this, know the integrity and character of our kids. You know they are hard workers and kind humans. There isn't insurance, and the police have told us not to expect to get anything back.

We have combined the fund into one rather than setting up individual funds for each kid and will be dividing whatever comes in based on what was stolen and what is needed in the house. We are compiling a list of items needed too, in case that is a way you want to help. We won't have that until next week.

Thank you for your love, prayers and support. We believe that what was meant for evil, will be turned around. If you have questions, please reach out to us.
