¿Te mola el cine de terror? A nosotros sí. Y por eso te necesitamos.

"ALEX, un joven aficionado al cine de terror, mira de madrugada un programa de televisión que homenajea a su actriz favorita LINA MIRANDA. Esta, que lleva 30 años muerta, se manifiesta a través del televisor para que él cumpla con una misión muy importante.
En su camino, a contra reloj, ALEX sufrirá toda clase de alucinaciones y enfrentamientos que pondrán a prueba su cordura y su fanatismo."

Joder ... a nosotros nos encantaría verlo y nos gustaría aún más HACERLO.

FANTATERROR pretende ser un cortometraje de culto enfocado al extinto género europeo de terror de la década de los 70 con el mismo nombre.  Sin embargo, no trata de solo homenajear al género, va más allá explorando una trama basada en la fantasía de cualquier fan, siendo la de conocer a su artista favorito ya fallecido.

Buscamos algo que perturbe, que mantenga al espectador atento en todo momento, reflejar la distorsionada mente de un fanático de apariencia inofensiva pero capaz de hacer cualquier cosa por su ídolo… o cuando le invade alguna de sus epifanías. Como si hubiéramos colocado al protagonista de La naranja mecánica dentro del Quijote.



Somos Néstor Arranz y Oscar Ruiz dos jovenzuelos que intentan ser cineastas (¡¿Con esta economía?!). Evidentemente nos gustan las películas de terror, las palomitas caramelizadas y discutir sobre cine durante mas tiempo del necesario. Si te sientes medianamente identificad@ con alguna de estas cosas,  bienvenido, eres nuestro público.

Intentaremos realizar el proyecto de la manera más legitima y legal posible.  Tras mirar las diferentes subvenciones a las que podríamos optar,  en caso de recibirlas, solo serían accesibles al ya haber realizado el corto, sin embargo,  nosotros no tenemos suficiente dinero como para producirlo solos en primer lugar. Ahí es donde entráis vosotros, aquí intentaremos recaudar el dinero estrictamente necesario para rodar el corto.

She, who died 30 years ago, manifests herself trough the television to give him a very important mission.  In this race against the clock ALEX will suffer all kinds of hallucinations and encounters that will challenge his sanity and his fanaticism"

Damn ... We would like to watch it but we would like making it EVEN MORE.

FANTATERROR attemts to be a cult short film that honors the extinct european horror genre from the 70's of the same name. But it's not just a homage, going further exploring a story based upon the fantasy of any fan, wich is meeting their favourite deceased artist.

We are trying to do something disturbing,  something that keeps the viewers strapped to their seats during the entire runtime, to reflect the fractured mind of a seemingly inoffensive fan but capable of doing anything for their idol ... As if we had dropped the main character from The Clockwork Orange inside the story of El Quijote.

We are Néstor Arranz and Oscar Ruiz two young adults trying to be filmmakers (In this economy?!). Evidently we love horror movies, candied popcorns and arguing about films for longer than necessary. If you feel mildly represented by any of those things, then welcome, you are a part of our audience.

We will try to execute the project in the most legitimate and legal way possible. After looking for public fuding, we have realised that the money will almost exclusively arrive after the short is finished, but we dont have enough to make it on our own. Thats where you come in, here we are trying to get the strictly necesary amount to film the short.
