On November 16th my sister went into surgery with the hope that the doctors could remove her cancer for the second time. During the surgery they found the cancer was wrapped around her artery and so bad they could not remove it. Hours later she would learn there was nothing more they could do but try to slow the cancer and control the pain until the end. And there is no saying when the end will be. With the right chemotherapy, the doctors think they can prolong her life, to spend more time with her two boys and family a little bit longer.... But the thought is it wouldn't be more than a year or two. This go fund me is specifically for Cortnie's medical bills.
