I'm not the best at asking for help, but here goes...

So after years of using my vocal abilities to connect, entertain, communicate, sing, MC, auction and a whooooooooole bunch more I have finally reached the end of this raspy road.

I have a syst growing on my right vocal cord (thankfully not cancerous) but it has robbed my of my ability to talk. My voice has been on the way out since December 5th and currently I can't even talk. Yeah yeah, laugh it, Cortney not able to talk.... who could believe it! Haha.

I have seen a specialist and the verdict is that I need to get surgery on my vocal cords, which is booked for Friday the 10th, and once I have recovered from that I need to get corrective nose surgery to fix this ever so broken nose so I can finally breath through my right nostril for the first time in most of my life after so many times breaking it over my years on this planet. One of the reasons I have always had such a raspy voice and throat problems is related to the fact that I can't breath through my right nostril at all, so with out it getting fixed it will just create the same problem over again.

All of this medical work is going to set my uninsured self back a small slice and am currently unable to afford all the work, which is why I am asking for help. I thank you all for just hearing me out and anyone who can help I am so deeply grateful. Anything can help in getting my voice back.
