Corry’s Funeral Cost

It is with heavy hearts we say farewell to Corry Mitoshi Mobel, our beloved son, brother, uncle cousin and nephew. He was a unique person who always loved joking, laughing, playing pranks and singing. He touched so many hearts because of his optimism and upbeat attitude, regardless of how he was feeling. At any given time, you could find Corry smiling, laughing or telling a joke. He remained an honor student throughout school and was even invited on an internship in Boston because of his outstanding academics. The void he leaves behind is one that is felt at school, abroad and, most especially, at home.
As some of you may know, Corry’s congenital heart condition deteriorated quickly and unexpectedly on Thursday, September 6, 2018. As a family, we came together to visit him in the hospital on Saturday where he was able to talk and renew our hopes for a full recovery. Thankfully, his father was recalled from deployment quickly enough to say goodbye as well. Ultimately, he went into cardiac arrest early Sunday morning and we were forced to say our goodbyes to an extraordinary young man gone far too soon. 
As Corry is laid to rest in Palau, his family must cover the costs of the funeral expenses, as well as airfare for his father, Carney, older brother Cliver and sister Katelynn, younger brother CJ and twin brother Coddy. 
During this difficult time, I come to all friends and family humbly to ask for a monetary donation to help his family during this time of need. Last minute airfare expenses is an unfair burden to place on any family planning a funeral. My hope is that we may come together to ease this family’s suffering, even just a little.
