20 years ago today on April 29, 1998 at the age of 17, Corryn underwent her first surgery for a malignant brain tumor. That day forever changed her as a person and since then she has struggled with her health. As of late, Corryn has been hospitalized for 9 days due to an appendix rupture that was floating poison through her body for days. Because she has a shunt from her brain to her stomach this wasnt a standard case. Corryn is now hospitalized again due to large abcesses and infection and will be at St. Marys in duluth for a minimum of another 7 days. In the last 2 days she just underwent 2 more procedures to try to rid all the infection. Additionally, doctors recently found bone tumors in her arm so in May she will be going back to the cities for surgery and biopsies on those tumors. 

Everyone who knows her loves her. She is such a loving and caring person who would give the shirt off her back for anyone. Despite the health issues shes fought for 20 years Corryn remains such an optimistic person. She is a true fighter and an admiration to all who know her. 

Corryn and her husband Brett recently just lost 2 sources of their income and with Corryn's current situation her husband has taken alot of time off work, used all the paid leave he has, leaving them with no income coming in during these trying times.
