Hey Friends!
In less than a month I will be venturing on a 10 day journey in La Paz, Bolivia! Located in west central part of South America, the mountainous city sits at 12,000 ft above sea level. 

I will be flying out of Chicago with a team that will be partnering with folks to volunteer alongside their Bolivian church and school to serve the community of Mallasilla, a suburb of La Paz. We will be doing a 3-day English camp for children ages 6-12 and will also be involved in a construction project and a 1 day CareFest for the community. In addition, we will be visiting two ministries that reach out to vulnerable populations of La Paz: shoe shiners and women involved in the sex trade. 

I need your help to make this happen! Costs for this trip will total around $2500, which I will need to raise for the following:

-International travel and Visa fees
-Food
-English camp and work project materials
-Travel fare to & from Chicago
-Immunizations/medical expenses

Many of you know my passion for other cultures and Spanish language, and I am thrilled for this opportunity. Bolivia is a place I am considering living after high school for language and cultural immersion. This trip will serve not only as an experience to learn, grow, and volunteer, but also as a vision trip for my future.
