So as many of you know corona has put a strain on all of us. But man did she have it out for me. Not only did I lose all sources of income from March till this past month. I had a string of events that could only be described as comical. Car broke down which cost $1200 to just get running not to mention the $650 additional work it still needs. My refrigerator broke and I had to throw away FULL refrigerator and freezer worth of food not once, But twice. A pipe burst under my house and luckily my landlord handled it but let my cats loose in the process. Among other crazy things that I won’t mention.. message me if you want to know more because it is comical.
Unfortunately I wasn’t eligible or unemployment so I never got that $600 extra a week everyone was raving about,
But luckily with the savings I had and the digital shows I’ve been able to do I’ve been able to barely stay afloat.
Obviously bills kept stacking up and I’ve had to let one or two go for a month or two in order to pay rent, and get food.
Luckily about a month ago I started working at a gym coaching again so I finally have some cash flow but it’s still not near where I was before. I’m finally starting to get caught up on past due bills and BAM.
I go out to get something from my car and ITS GONE!!
At first I thought “did someone really steal my car?” But then I realized holy crap. I havnt paid my car payment in a while.
It was repo’d...
I logged on to see my balance and apparently the last payment I made in June that would have covered June and July never went through and I never realized it.
So here we are..
I have till September 13th to pay $1965 OR September 21st to pay $2225 or they will auction off my car. (The annoying part is over half is fees. Repo fee, reinstatement fee, and others)
