Coronavirus India - help Baba lovers help others

Jai Meher Baba!
The outpouring of love and support for those who are suffering from COVID in India is overwhelming and awesome! Many thanks to all who have participated in this project.
I continually update the fundraiser description as things change, and also post updates about successes experienced by each team. (click on updates, and then click on "see older updates" in order to see all the progress being made). There are now four teams headed up by Baba lovers, working in Meherabad area, in Pune, in Mumbai, and one team expanding through Baba lover connections to other parts of India.
The Meherabad-based team called Meheram7 (the ones heavily involved in editing and uploading the unbelievable 30-hour virtual Amartithi program) have been throwing themselves into helping where they can. So far, although Government healthcare is free, the facilities are overwhelmed. Many are managing on their own, or the patients who can bear the charges pay directly for medical help. Many families have been affected by loss of work or the sudden loss of their wage earner and need help with the basic necessities of life - food, sanitizer, and some help finding available government and charitable resources.
A second team is headed up by Roshani Shenazz who has maintained various activities for the underprivileged. Thanks to our help, she and her team have started a round-the-clock live Coronavirus Hotline that will provide up-to-date resources for those experiencing a medical emergency, manned by volunteers. They are also able to provide charitable hospitals in the rural area with a long list of equipment and supplies urgently needed at this time. More details in the updates!
Meher Oxygen Service is the third team we have been able to support. Headed up by a dynamic team of Mumbai-based Baba lover professionals, they have already received 50 oxygen cylinders and have organized volunteers who stand ready to deliver them to people's homes as needed. They have also provided oxygen tanks to Dehra Dun, Ajmer Sharif Dargah and to Meherabad Trust. Through personal connections, they have expanded to be able to help with food rations in Dharavi (one of Asia's biggest slums). And very touchingly, they have been able to provide PPE to 50 crematorium workers in Mumbai who were handling virus-infected remains with no protection at all!
Our fourth team is headed by Baba Zoom family member Asma, who has for a year been helping the nomadic tribes who have no access to government support due to lack of paperwork. Mostly they have subsisted by performing on the streets, scavenging for scraps thrown out by vegetable vendors, and worse. The lockdowns have hit them particularly hard as one can imagine.
All four teams are headed by personally-known Baba lovers who have shown the greatest integrity in all their dealings.
Any assistance we can offer will be a great help. This fund is not supporting any specific medical facility, organization nor charity. It is focused on helping known Baba lovers who are helping their communities in this incredibly stressful time.
May we all find a way to surrender to His Will. Avatar Meher Baba ki Jai! x 7!
