In queste ultime settimane, per il COVID19, l'area Vestina di Penne sta attraversando un difficile momento dal punto di vista sociale e sanitario, come d’altronde in Italia e a livello globale.
Anche noi però possiamo fare qualcosa:
Medici, infermieri e biologi stanno facendo un lavoro importantissimo e vorremmo supportarli concretamente affinché i loro sforzi possano realmente contribuire a salvare vite umane, cittadini dell'area vestina e i nostri compaesani di Penne e dell’area Vestina.
Per questo abbiamo pensato di promuovere questa raccolta fondi con il fine di acquistare materiale necessario agli ospedali dell'area Vestina che includono gli ospedali in cui i malati che hanno contratto il Covid-19 sono trasferiti: Pescara, Penne e Atri.

Uno dei nostri papá, diabetico e anziano, ha contratto il Covid-19 e ora lotta tra la vita e la morte in isolamento nelle strutture ospedaliered di Atri. Vi scriviamo e condividiamo con voi questa triste situazione per dirvi e farvi capire che tocchiamo con mano la realtà e le difficoltà attuali. Dobbiamo puntualizzare che purtroppo il sistema sanitario Vestino sta affrontando in questo momento l’emergenza Covid19 con pochi mezzi, mentre per esempio in molti centri del Nord Italia gli imprenditori hanno contribuito ad aprire nuove strutture in tempi record, con l’influsso di liquiditá immediata. Vorremmo che l’accesso alla sanità, specie in questo period di emergenza non sia determinate dal locale.
In questo momento le attrezzature necessarie per triplicare i posti letto di terapia intensiva e subintensiva sono:
- Ventilatori
- Dispositivi di ventilazione non invasiva
- Monitor
Anche una piccola donazione può fare la differenza.
I fondi raccolti saranno direttamente devoluti agli ospedali dell'area Vestina per il rafforzamento della terapia intensiva. Con assoluta trasparenza vi verrà fatta comunicazione di cosa sarà acquistato con questa raccolta fondi.
Ricordate che quest'area negli ultimi anni è stata brutalmente devastata da svariate catastrofi (i.e Terremoto 2009, Valanga di Rigopiano 2017) ma il popolo Vestino ha sempre reagito con forza, ora aiutateci a raccogliere più soldi possibili in breve tempo PERCHÈ L'EMERGENZA È IN QUESTO MOMENTO! Dear fellow Abruzzo turists, visitors, sympathizers, friends, Italian lovers…
Due to the outbreak of COVID19 the Vestina area which includes the small village of Penne has been going through a difficult time from a social and health point of view, as indeed Italy and Globally.
But we too can do something:
Doctors, nurses, and biologists are doing a very important job and we would like to support them concretely so that their efforts can help save lives of our fellows.
For this reason, we decided to promote this fundraiser with the aim of purchasing necessary equipment and material for the hospitals in the Vestina area of Abruzzo, which include the hospitals where the patients who have contracted Covid-19 are transferred: Pescara, Penne, and Atri.

One of our dads, diabetic and elderly, contracted Covid-19 and is now struggling between life and death in solitary confinement in the hospital facilities of Atri. We write to you and share this sad situation as we are in touch with the current reality and understand the struggle and difficulties of our local healthcare system. We must point out that unfortunately our local health care system is currently facing the Covid19 emergency with few means, while for example in many facilities in Northern Italy private entrepreneurs have contributed to opening new infrastructures in record time, with the influx of immediate liquidity. We would like that access to health services in this emergency period, would not to be determined by the geographical location, but would be as much as homogeneously distributed as possible.
At this moment the necessary equipment to improve intensive and sub intensive care are:
- Ventilators for intensive care
- Non-invasive ventilation devices
- Monitors
Even a small donation can make a difference.
The funds raised will be directly donated to the hospitals in the Vestina area for the above-mentioned purposes of intensive care and we will publish the utilization of the funds with absolute transparency.
Please remember that in recent years this area has been brutally devastated by various catastrophes (ie Earthquake 2009, Avalanche of Rigopiano 2017) but our population has always reacted strongly, now help us to collect as much as possible in a short time BECAUSE THE EMERGENCY IS RIGHT NOW!
