Corona Relief - PPE / charity

Hi prospective donors
My name is Mahika Kanchanam and I'm a high school student. I'm doing this fundraising with the permission of my parents. It is my aspiration to enter a science field and serve the community when I graduate from college. While there is still time for that, I see a huge need for all of us to pitch in and help now. We woke up one day and the world has changed around us.
The Corona (COVID 19) pandemic is very disturbing and the loss of life devastating. It has not been easy to watch the news or look at the numbers. But we cannot shy away from it ether.
Our health care workers are fighting the virus on the front lines and it is our duty to support them and protect them. They are working without the minimal protective equipment like masks and face shields. I'm raising this fund to provide/procure the PPE for health care workers.
All amount raised through this fund will be used for the purpose. We are currently working with supplier, local charity efforts and hospitals. If, in any case, our procurement efforts don't go through, or I have funds left over, I will donate it to Omaha Foundation and local charities in Omaha, NE who are working towards Corona relief. Please be assured that every penny from this fund raising will get donated to community cause. I will post updates as things progress.
For every $1000 we reach, my parents have agreed to donate $100.
