Help change a life!

Let's restore hope and change to the life of a homeless gentleman named Darryl Rodger. In recent years, Darryl has fallen victim to serious misfortune. He left his carpentry job in Texas and came back to Massachusetts to be with his father, who was struggling after his wife's passing (Darryl's mother). While here, he had surgery in the hospital and while recuperating his truck and and all of the carpentry tools that it contained were stolen. Then he had a falling out with his family. Today, Darryl is without a home, a vehicle, a job, or any family to help him out. Yet despite all of this misfortune, his faith in God has remained steadfast.

Local video producer Joe Spanos – whom I met through our local Greek Orthodox Church (Sts. Constantine & Helen Church of Andover, MA) – saw Darryl on the streets and built a relationship with him over time. Joe got me involved, and together we are working to bring Darryl back into society and put him on the path to a safe and rewarding life. To do that, we have established this GoFundMe account and are raising money on behalf of Darryl Rodger.

We are asking neighbors, friends, and charitable organizations to lend a hand and make a donation of any size to Darryl's account, as well as to help spread the word. The funds will be used to procure a vehicle, carpentry tools, and a place to stay so that Darryl can get his life in order and ultimately restart his carpentry trade.

We recently interviewed Darryl (Feb 2023) and encourage you to watch this 18-minute YouTube video and learn about his predicament. Hopefully, after watching, you will be filled with the spirit of giving and want to help this homeless gentleman get his life back.

All of the proceeds raised (minus GoFundMe credit card handling charges) will be given directly to Darryl Rodger.
